‘Total’ Repairer Network

Bodyshop management is one of the most challenging disciplines in the industry and the need to guarantee quality and service levels while maintaining profitability is paramount. These objectives can only be achieved if the repairer network is strategically managed and assessed in line with industry practice, client demands and market developments.

All repairers on ‘Total's’ network are rigorously assessed against stringent standards before being added to the network and then evaluated on an ongoing basis by fully qualified in-house engineers.

Repairers are monitored and scored on a monthly basis against key metrics including customer/driver surveys, post repair audits and adherence to various contract standards.

Paramount to the effectiveness of the network is the ability to maintain an ongoing dialogue between the repairer and ‘Total’ and deliver simple but effective solutions to the end user.

‘Total’ recognises that the Contracted Repairer Network needs to consist of a mix of suppliers that are able to cope with varying vehicle types, advanced repairing techniques and those that are able to provide services to meet the customer's increasing business demands and commercial obligations. In response to this need ‘Total’ has compiled a ‘multi disciplined’ network of some 140 car and LCV repairers. Motorcycles and HGV's are managed by ‘Total’ with two specialist partners matching the standards and quality of our own reparier network.

The entire repair process is tracked via ‘Total's’ in-house repair management system, where strict case management takes place in conjunction with Audatex our preferred estimating system.
